There is one thing about this story I cannot figure out... and it bothers me... It seems the woman was battered and bleeding when she arrived at the party -- and No One there even tried to help her.
That alone should be a good reason to charge them - why arn't people more upset that no one tried to help the woman in the first place. If someone showed up bleeding at my door - I certainly would try and help them.
Just curious.
