I find the comments to the article more disturbing than the article. Accusations of poor parenting, all children with autism suffer from OCD?? What the hell.

She's a little girl. There's nothing wrong with the sweater. I wore cartoon character apparel until highschool and no one made a fuss over it. Hell, I even carried around bags of pens or lint or anything really. :?

I hope the parents bankrupt everyone involved. I remember having some episodes when I was a little kid around 6-10 and the special education teachers always handled the situation.

That was really ret*d on the part of all the grownups. That would not have been an issue at the church I volunteer at even if she was spitting and screaming.

Who are these monkeys who get jobs working with children but then prove incapable of controlling those children when they kick off? NT kids chuck tantrums too. How do these people cope when their own kids throw their weight around? Career change methinks.
