It's a series of triangular hills in Bosnia. Some think they are pyramids, around 12,000 years old. The archaeologists have uncovered some stones with regular features which they think suggest that they were cut by people, rather than them being natural formations.
So what will this do to our understanding of the emergence of civilisation? If they really are pyramids, maybe we'll find that civilisation like that may have cropped up again and again, interrupted by terrible dark ages. What if they find inscriptions, language, and can decipher it? What about metal tools? What if they uncover some ancient religion, and people start converting? What if inscriptions in these 12,000 year old pyramids (if they are pyramids) refer to an even older civilisation?
It could be very interesting.
