Mel Gibson is officially sick, and not in a good way.

Sick is right. I have no pity or compassion for someone who treats the mother of his child like that. I have read too many domestic violence accounts in Criminal Justice to feel anything but contempt and anger.

No, his career will not recover, nor should it.

I'm not too familiar with press on Gibson (usually avoid it)... but this and the anti-semitic thing got me wondering...

I use to be a big fan of his movies and even the films he directed. I was even willing to have the benefit of the doubt about his antisemetism but this is just crazy. The guy is obviously a loony who needs to be locked or closely moderated and on meds. Seems like fame really f***s with people's egos as they age...

i look at it as this, they shouldn't of had the camera or what ever up his arse.

I can see where South Park got that from.

the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. i've read that his father was just as severe, and even more rascist, sexist and antisemitic than his son. but mel is rich beyond avarice and he will just hold back until this all blows over [and it undoubtedly will, given enough time], then there will be a manufactured "rehabilitation" and he will gradually come back into the hollywood whirl. when robert downey jr. fell into the crap, it was mel who came to his assistance. we will see if robert returns the favor. but personally, seeing those sauced mugshots of mel from his last go-round sickened me because they reminded me exactly of the drunken expression on my alcoholic father, a look of malevolent-yet-diminished mentality mirthfulness that preceeded the real mischief. i never cared for mel gibson nor his fellow countryman russell crowe- both of 'em are full of themselves.

They can take our lives, but they can never take our polemic revisionism!

So he yells at his girlfriend for dressing and acting like a cheap tart in a private phone conversation.

So SHE records it and makes it public to destroy his career, and HE is the bad guy?
Perhaps she is a cheap tart and an embarrassment to him. She is obviously a very viscous person.

Then his agent drops him because he (gasp) said the "N word"
His agent made millions of dollars out of him. I thought it was an agent's job to be loyal to the client and handle bad publicity?

The fix is in. The "powers that be" are determined to take him down.

He made the generalization that all African American males when they see a woman dressed rather inappropriately along with modified breasts will arouse them to a point where in a group they will sexually assault her assuming she would enjoy it. Mel was only trying to help her, I mean he should not have used that word but if he truly believes that African American males minds revert to that when they see a woman of that matter (which isn't true of course) than can't hate him for trying to protect his ex-girlfriend and daughter from being "raped by a pack of n*****s" because in his view it will be her own fault and doesn't want to risk that happening to her and his daughter.

And also he promised to bring her on vacation to a Rose Garden? I mean I myself don't care for gardens but I am sure the woman and the daughter would love going to a garden and seeing the roses and frolicking around.

I can't sympathize with him trying to "protect" his ex-girlfriend & daughter b/c I've seen what controlling men are like & its NOT pretty. Also, anyone who makes generalizations like that needs help b/c that level or paranoia & not caring about your partner's feelings is unhealthy & cruel. I realize all/most people including myself make generalizations but you need to recognize when you are doing so & when you have gone too far. I actually know someone who had an ex who used to record her messages to keep an eye on her 24/7... its WRONG to do this. But in this case her doing this may have been to prove that she's in trouble. Desperation can lead a person to do anything to survive & her motivation will determine if what she did was truly wrong in recording him. Controlling/humiliating him vs. Getting proof that he is hurting her emotionally/physically, etc.

One thing, I read that Grigorieva doesn't know who leaked the recording, if this is true she didn't want it public & probably (not for sure though) made it to prove they have a problem. Plus, I wonder how she recorded him w/o him knowing... I'd think she'd of had to of hidden a recorder on herself to do it.

If you read that last part you could tell I was obviously joking.

Mel Gibson is a nut and we have known this forever. This doesn't change anything nor does it solidify the fact he is a nut it just make people find him more laughably hilarious.

Sorry, I can't even recognize jokes in person let alone online . How do you recognize a joke online as all their is to go by is words and emoticons?

Oh... Sorry lol. I was going towards a sarcastic vibe but forgot that this probably wasn't the best place for that... Anyways I am the same way, never understand jokes online or offline.
