But, this time, they're gonna drop all the Disney-owned channels (ABC, ESPN, etc.):

I do need ABC to watch my "Wife Swap" and "America's Funniest Home Videos". I can definitely survive without Disney Channel, I need ABC Family to watch reruns of "Full House", and I can survive without the ESPN channels because I'm not really a sports fan.

I doubt it. Time Warner Cable does this crap literally all the time.

I LOATHE TWC. I thought monopolies weren't suppose to exist? This is probably the most obvious example of one I ever seen. If I want cable or broadband internet, I HAVE to buy it from TWC. I have literally no other choice.

It's the same story with the city I live closest to as well. TWC has a monopoly on the phone, cable, and broadband around the entire area and the prices are over $220 a month. 8O Makes me glad I live in a rural area TWC deems unprofitable and won't do business in. :D

I don't have to worry about that because I get Verizon Fios, which also includes fiber optic internet and phone.
