That's sick.

I know! I feel bad for the kids, but thankfully one of them escaped and got help. I hope these children will grow up in a loving home. These parents should be locked up for a long time. I wonder what other types of abuse these children had to endure.

Those two horrible people are not "parents these days". They are two horrible people who shouldn't have had kids. But your title makes it sound like you think this is some sort of new parenting trend.

@Janissy: Yeah what does he mean "these days"? They are just two crazy parents and this isn't anymore prevalent now than it was back then. I thought this was gonna be about how parents these days are p*****s who spoil their kids way too much.

Well, I don't think child abuse is anything new. That's rather sad though.

Sadly, this is nothing new.

What is new is that we hear much more about it. People who hearken back to some mythical "better time" in the past often forget that things like this were neither talked about nor reported upon when they occurred.

I just the title of the post. Is that better?

I hope the children will be in better loving families. I can't imagine what other type of abuse they had to endure from their parents.

There are always children who are abused. It will never stop
