I'd wish they'd quit talking about it and actually get this out. I've always known of the anti-depressant affects of psychedelics, and most of my experiences were with crude versions of them. I would take this in a heartbeat because what is out there now is garbage and does little besides making you a lifetime client of drug industry. Once a week sounds a lot better than once a day(at least) How many problems could this potential solve? I hope it could get me on the road to solving mine. We won't really know until it gets out.

Anyone else hopeful for this?

I wish that they would get the led out, as well. I can't wait to see, what those pills are like.

Yeah... the antidepressant is called: sleep-well-eat-healthy-workout-every-day.

What's with the pills? Enough already.

I'm not very big on pills, but I have to hold out hope that someday before I die I'll come across something that really works for me, nothing else so far has. The benefit with psychedelics for me has been undeniable, since I've been transformed a couple times taking them. It's like a mental renewal that SSRI's can't touch, and it's not even a daily or even monthly thing. I have never felt whole in my life except during the haze following a dose. Their are some of us whose lives can't be fulfilled by society, so we have to find an alternative route. Wish I wasn't one of them.

Up to about a couple weeks after I joined this site, I did P90X everyday (I had been doing it for a little over a year), while loading trucks in 100 degree plus conditions, eating high protein/low carbs, no drinking or smoking, while maintaining my house for me and my tenants. After that point, I said what is the point and quit my job and working out, and do nothing but play video games drink beer and eat sun flower seeds. Your plan isn't a cure all.

I'm still wondering how a ketamine pill would work. I'm pretty sure their aim isn't to cause a psychedelic experience. I think the experience is what is key. As far as psychedelics go, it works in that way by sensory deprivation, so maybe it depresses the sympathetic nervous system maybe?

I've been eating healthier and working out maybe more than I ever have for the past few months(and been sleeping fine) and I feel horrible a lot of the time. I felt better when I was just taking Effexor during the winter, although it seemed like I developed a tolerance to it and it became less effective.

Stuff like that really upsets me. If you're really depressed you can't just work out, because you have no dang energy for it. When you're depressed you can't just sleep well. Sleep doesn't come with a button. And eating well... unless someone else cooks, how can you cook if you don't have the thinking and energy for it?

When I was at my worst I could maybe drag myself to the nearest store and buy some food I could nuke. When I paid, I couldn't even think of how much money to pay, they had to help me count my money because I couldn't think to count to 10.

I hate the JUST DO IT attitude.
