Yeah, very interesting. Makes me wonder if an autism-CFS connection could make sense that way. Also, it would appear to lead credence to the "push way too hard and get burnt out" or "midlife autistic burnout" phenomena. -- Very speculative, but interesting to wonder about, at least.

Mitochondria are inherited from mother to child. People will have a copy of their mother's mitochondria in their cells.

I however, inherited AS from my father. So, it cant be the mitochondria in my case. I dont have CFS either. Possibly some people with autism could have problems with their mitochondria, but I think there are many causes of autism, and quite a few genes inherited which could lead to it.

Autism speaks sponsored that study....one step closer to that prenatal test that will determine if a fetus has autism...thus the onset of autistic genocide. 6 years ago they said in ten years they will have a prenatal test for autism. That is a coward's way to find a cure

I wish that Autidm Speaks would just give up. They're a bunch of invalids who don't know what they're talking about. Now all the female bullies will be aborting their unborn autistic children in a few years time. Thanks for nothing, Jenny McCarthy.

This is all that I have to say in this thread. You all know where I stand.

Knowledge is not bad, misuse of knowledge is, and trying to stop people understanding and finding out about the unknown is futile.
