Nothing really surprising there unless the vet had actually thought a real answer might have actually been available.

I don't blame the congressman for being annoyed at the tone exhibited by the speaker there. He was essentially yelling in his face. He also strongly suggested his sympathies for the Republican side, said that the President is choosing not to call an emergency session and therefore that's where the problem lies.

Wait a minute, Inuyasha, weren't you the one accusing Democrats of alarmism over the government shutdown? Now, you're taking the side of a man who voiced concern, only because he took his anger out at a Democratic politician.
