Well here is the issue, the Democrats have made it quite clear they want to increase spending, not cut spending. Republicans control only the House of Representatives, the blame the Republicans doesn't fly because they only control 1/2 the Legislative branch, the Democrats control the other half of the Legislative Branch and the Executive Branch.
If you are struggling with credit card debt, you don't go out and buy a brand new Porche.
However the same ones screaming about the deficit are the same ones who are proposing more spending in the defense budget. The biggest drain on the economy is not medicare, but the fact we have been at war for 10 years without an end in sight.
I am in a military family, and we are required by tricare to have medicare as primary in our insurance, however, most doctors are not taking medicare anymore because of the cuts, so even though we pay 600 dollars a month for health insurance, we have very little access to health care. We even had to go to ER several occasions just to get medicine refills, because we could not find a doctor who took medicare. That a great way to show support for millitary families.
