Internet Service Providers attempting to go after piracy

You know there is a pretty simple solution for this in the case of movies and music that doesn't involve these shannigans.

They should set up a site that hosts these movies/episodes/music and then have people have to sit through commercials before they listen to music, see movie, or television episode. The people end up getting their money and people watch the movies. This isn't rocket science, I mean good grief.

I think that people should be able to pay a monthly fee in order to download as much music/movies/TV shows as they want, rather than, say, having to pay $1.30 for individual songs as with iTunes. Maybe if companies started offering that service, there would be less piracy. I'm not sure if such services exist already, but if anyone knows of one, please let me know!

They charge us 6 bucks to rent a movie for 24 hours. 12 a person to see a movie and 100 for tv and the call us pirates?

Is there a a privacy act this would be breaking? for them to know when we are downingling means they are watching where we go on the net meaning they could sell that info to well...everyone.

From what remember reading, they are only going after the IP addresses listed on file sharing sites as offering downloads. If so then it's public information.
