Zero new jobs in August. Will King Obama blame this on George Bush?

No. He'll blame it on the evil republitards who refuse to play according to his rules. Obama is a spectacular failure as a president. I very much hope he's kicked out in 2012.

The government spent $4 Trillion. reduced taxes, kickbacks for job producers, they do not have an employment problem.

The Fed is giving money away, at rates 2 1/2% below inflation, to those with friends in Congress.

It is a Pay to Play System, failure to come up with bribes is your problem, not the Governments.

Take this from a person who had to settle for drying cars and pumping gas just to get enough gas to get to work. This economy is becoming so unbalanced towards the richfolks. The only jobs left in this vicious darwinian economy is the service industry. Take what you can get. Also, there hasn't been a good president since the founding father died out.

It's really easy to blame all of this on the new evil black President Obama, but the fact is, there isn't a whole lot he can do. Sure, he could do better, but this idea of "job creation" is a myth and always was. This is especially true now, where you can't just create a job out of thin air, because machines do the job better and cheaper since they don't need wages or health care, or lunch breaks, or training, or days off, or anything. The only industry left that machines can't totally take over (yet) is the service industry, which is why over 80% of people work in the service industry. Customer service is a modern form of slavery. Instead of overseers, you have coordinators. Instead of cotton, you have (insert task here) Instead of getting tattled on by racist white folks, you get tattled on by whiny, spoiled customers who want it all and want it now. And instead of sharecropping, you have wages that only enable you to pay the rent and not much more, which keeps the wage slave in line. Workers have to tip their hat to customers the same way slaves had to acknowledge the master race. This is the type of thing that angers a lot of people, because we all know it's true deep down, so everyone tries to ignore it, and instead we get mad at anyone who dares to bring it up.

Once again, Obama becomes the scapegoat. I really hope people realize there is only so much he can do. Anything he proposes has to be agreed upon. Due to the wide variety of interests, it is almost impossible to pass an ambitious plan.

This unemployment problem has been building for a long time from poor legislation passed by both republican and democratic administrations of the past.

Honestly, the best thing for the government to do is nothing. You are not supposed to intervene in a capitalist economy. But they feel pressured to because to protect the federal currency (US Dollar).

It was the Obama Administration that is telling Boeing that Boeing can't have a plant in South Carolina.

It is the Obama Administration that committed plagerism in order to make the claim that experts called for oil pumping in the Gulf to stop.

It was the Obama Administration that was held in contempt of court, over the afore mentioned moratorium on drilling.

Contempt of court? Boeing? Oil pumping? Who do you think controls the court system? The Obama Administration? Whether the Obama Administration is good or bad for us is irrelevant. What is relevant is whether or not they support the interests of rich people that want to make money. That's why people look back and miss the Bush Administration, easily forgetting how bad things were. WE are not relevant. Our needs are not considered anymore. Some people might say the people's needs were never considered, but that's not true. People's needs were considered about 100 years ago, but today the only thing that remains is profiteering, and you can't turn a profit and help people at the same time. We try to argue and reason about something that no longer includes us. We have a right to do that because it affects us, but we are no longer considered, and that's a tough pill to swallow.

The Government now claims to be sex workers, but they are still whores.

Right now they are broke, they talk about doing things, but there is nothing they can do. It keeps going because the Fed buys Bonds, China stopped. Japan is selling because of their disaster, and costs, unemployment and food stamps are up while tax collections are down.

Debt fueled madness has reached a peak, and next year comes the fall, two trillion short of keeping it going, in an election year, that will see anyone who would run get elected over anyone who was ever in government.

The Tea Party was a fake, put up to prevent the people from putting forth their own program. We The People are feared in Washington.

First, all government employees, all of them will be subject to the same laws as the people. Same Social Security, Medicare, and retirement age.

Second, their wages will be set at median for the working population, a 50% pay cut.

Third, income tax will be abolished and replaced with a flat tax on assets, net worth. Those with a billion in tax free bonds have never paid any tax.

The American consumer market is 70% of the economy, of the largest economy on the planet. We are the world economy, and have no intention of letting it be sold out from underneath us.

The Constitution give the right to change the form of government at any time by majority vote, to the People, and no one else.

50% and one vote will put the Reboot Party in power, with a mandate to change anything. It bypasses and abolishes the Electorial College by majority vote.

It is simple, if you want access to the largest consumer market, and the best investments, you will pay to play. The price is the support of the full population. That can be in cash, or employment.

By a flat tax on assets we will pay off the National Debt, which will make the dollar the strongest worthless paper money in the game. When the dollar rises, we do not pay interest, we collect it.

Paying our just debts puts five trillion dollars in cash in the world. It will not be a bond earning, but a dollar, good for trade. The same process that sent our wealth worldwide, can bring it back. Dollars that earn nothing can buy American goods and services.

In ten years, we can pay off our debts, have full employment, and the strong dollar that will drive the world economy. We can also have a well educated workforce, and a debt free population.

A Government by, for, and of the People.

The Left Wing ran Great Britain into the ground after WW2.

The problem with the Left is that very few of its partisans are capable of running a lemonade stand at a profit.

No, the Tea Party was the real deal, just were were intelligent enough to decide to work to change things in the party that at least still had some sanity, and set them back on the path of limited Government. A third party is the Democrats' wetdream because they know it would divide the opposition vote and guarentee they remain in office to push through more of their fiscal insanity.

Those bonds are tax free because they are loans to the government. Why the hell should someone pay money to the entity that they loaned money to when they are being repaid?

So you're saying people in Alaska, Rhode Island, Ohio, etc. should have no voice in how things work. Furthermore, trying to get a hundred million people to agree on anything is complete insanity. We elect people to represent us for a reason.

The stimulus died a long time ago. It never stood to work, and it didn't help that it was basically a contest to see who could come up with the most ret*d and expensive thing to piss money away on. It's pretty hard to call the liberals "right" when they spent more than we had cumulatively spent on Iraq up until that time without any clear objective. If the liberals who are always "right" think that pissing away a sum of money close to the combined gross national product of all Africa, and crossing your fingers and wearing your lucky underwear all the time hoping something good comes out of it, count me out!

Here's a short list of "economy building" projects.

Quote:
- $300,000 for a GPS-equipped helicopter to hunt for radioactive rabbit droppings at the Hanford nuclear reservation in Washington state.

- $30 million for a spring training baseball complex for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies.

- $11 million for Microsoft to build a bridge connecting its two headquarter campuses in Redmond, Wash., which are separated by a highway.

- $430,000 to repair a bridge in Iowa County, Wis., that carries 10 or fewer cars per day.

- $800,000 for the John Murtha Airport in Johnstown, Pa., serving about 20 passengers per day, to build a backup runway.

- $219,000 for Syracuse University to study the sex lives of freshmen women.

- $2.3 million for the U.S. Forest Service to rear large numbers of arthropods, including the Asian longhorned beetle, the nun moth and the woolly adelgid.

- $3.4 million for a 13-foot tunnel for turtles and other wildlife attempting to cross U.S. 27 in Lake Jackson, Fla.

- $1.15 million to install a guardrail for a persistently dry lake bed in Guymon, Okla.

- $9.38 million to renovate a century-old train depot in Lancaster County, Pa., that has not been used for three decades.

- $2.5 million in stimulus checks sent to the deceased.

- $6 million for a snow-making facility in Duluth, Minn.

- $173,834 to weatherize eight pickup trucks in Madison County, Ill.

- $20,000 for a fish sperm freezer at the Gavins Point National Fish Hatchery in South Dakota.

- $380,000 to spay and neuter pets in Wichita, Kan.

- $300 apiece for thousands of signs at road construction sites across the country announcing that the projects are funded by stimulus money.

- $1.5 million for a fence to block would-be jumpers from leaping off the All-American Bridge in Akron, Ohio.

- $1 million to study the health effects of environmentally friendly public housing on 300 people in Chicago.

- $356,000 for Indiana University to study childhood comprehension of foreign accents compared with native speech.

- $983,952 for street beautification in Ann Arbor, Mich., including decorative lighting, trees, benches and bike paths.

- $148,438 for Washington State University to analyze the use of marijuana in conjunction with medications like morphine. ILLEGAL!

- $462,000 to purchase 22 concrete toilets for use in the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri

- $3.1 million to transform a canal barge into a floating museum that will travel the Erie Canal in New York state.

- $1.3 million on government arts jobs in Maine, including $30,000 for basket makers, $20,000 for storytelling and $12,500 for a music festival.

- $71,000 for a hybrid car to be used by student drivers in Colchester, Vt., as well as a plug-in hybrid for town workers decked out with a sign touting the vehicle's energy efficiency.

- $1 million for Portland, Ore., to replace 100 aging bike lockers and build a garage that would house 250 bicycles.

If the liberals are always right, why didn't they see the problems with Obama and Barney Frank blocking Bush's proposed financial regulations before the economic bubble got and subprime lending got out of control?

In the Obama lexicon and the politically liberal left, the word "job" refers to "union jobs" or "sustainable jobs", not non-union jobs created by private sector companies. Union jobs are at the pinnacle of the lib's labor ideologies and jobs that are not, ya know those jobs based off of profit in the private sector, are less beneficial for the worker and our society, unless a union is involved.

The links between Big Labor and our president were apparent during the election and within their right to pursue their agendas. Unfortunately for the remaining 90% of the country that is non-union, not a whole lot is being done in the employment arena, except some unemployment benefits.

Labor laws and regulations are being fast tracked to assist workers unionizing quicker, but I have a feeling that the pipe dream that businesses will unionize in mass after having our president showing them the error in their ways, needs to be repacked with some chronic reality.

Unleashing the private sector with tax breaks or other actions that have stimulated the economy in the past isn't really an option when your micromanaging an economy down to the type of job, wage and benefits. If there were rules and regulations concerning licensing, work hours, minimum benefits when the internet came of age do you think we would have Facebook by now? "Sorry, sir, that's a great idea, but you don't have an HTML license from the Dept. of Internet and therefore can't get anyone to host a website for you."

Repubs and businesses aren't perfect but I tend to side with them when job creation. Anyway, my 2 cents on why we have unemployment this bad and will for quite some time. How many jobs should the economy create each year just to keep up with population growth???

The stimulus is almost gone and the economy sputters. Cherry picking extremely inexpensive "silly" items (farm animals are always preferred, like when they look at the so-called pork) doesn't change that fact. We in the Left were right again!
