Former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale hospitalized after trying to harm self

Quote:
President Trump’s former campaign manager Brad Parscale was hospitalized Sunday after reportedly threatening suicide while armed with guns inside his Florida home.

Parscale’s wife called authorities to their Fort Lauderdale home at about 4 p.m., telling them her husband was threatening to harm himself and had access to several firearms, authorities said.

Police were able to talk Parscale into safely coming out.

He was removed by authorities under the state’s Baker Act. The legislation enables police to detain anybody who may harm themselves or others.

Do you think he will talk?  Can you imagine what he might say about our Dear Leader?

I feel like taking a contrarian stance to say that a psychotic episode like that may be in no way related to anything in his resume.

I have to wonder of whom he was so afraid that he felt it necessary to barricade himself and threaten suicide.

Maybe he had information about Hillary?

She's ancient history, and therefore irrelevant.

He lost his Trump job in June.

His companies made $39.9 million off of Trump donors over the last three years.

His previous job was a website designer for Trump properties.

So, his whole world, of importance and riches, just crashed.

I know people in Anaheim who worked for Disney, and who feel almost the same way.

Covid --> Social Isolation --> No Tourists --> No Business --> No Job --> No Income --> No hope.

Aren't you, traditional capitalists, a bit too dependent on economic situation?

Actually, good point.
Disneyland is located on the site of a former huge orange grove.
If it were still an orange grove, there would not be an entire city dependent on 1 business.
Which is now closed.
:(

Top level politics, dicey business, even when you leave.
You never get to fully leave, people from all factions will continue to hunt you down
and do what they can to destroy you.

Brad should expect to be slandered in Hollywood too for a few years now.
Especially if he has fallen out with Steve Bannon and Mr Trump.

Modern day politicians rarely play fair and rarely want a one on one fight.
They fight by getting everyone they know to pick on you.

Even if you saved their life.
That's how these people are wired.

And I thought having ASD made me ill.
Well may be i am, but i am not sick in the head like many of these politicians,
who enjoy hurting.

Not at all.  It's all about diversification of investments -- never invest all of your money into one industry or even one type of industry.

As a side note, it's strange how one moderator considers me a Communist while another thinks of me as a Capitalist.

What an ironic situation for "The Happiest Place On Earth" to be in.

Contrary to popular belief, WrongPlanet moderators do not develop a hive mind.
Anyway, I meant plural "you", traditionally capitalist societes.
I think you (singular) are right about lack of diversification being bad investment but for some reason, it's problematically prevalent in some superficially wealthy parts of the world.

Like Anaheim or Orlando?  In these places, the dominant businesses are those that depend on Disney -- hotels, motels, restaurants, souvenir shops, et cetera.

The Anaheim government alone already has a budget shortfall of over 100,000,000 dollars, and projections are that the loss will not be recovered for at least 3 years, and only if the Anaheim government imposes some severe austerity measures on itself or raises taxes on us citizens.
