The part that really gets me (aside from the fact that this really doesn't help my dental phobia, heheh) is this: "Family members have said Diamond received a triple dose of sedatives an oral agent, an intravenous drug and nitrous oxide gas during Saturday's exam at Little Angel Dental. The girl was having two cavities filled and caps placed on her lower front teeth."

Ok, so, wait, a 5 year old kid, and she's got an oral sedative, an iv sedative AND nitrous? WTF? They don't even do that for me most of the time and I'm 35 and probably 4 times her size (just guessing).

I was raised by Christian Scientist....it was OK to go to the Dentist(evidently the bible didnt have any accounts of Jesus healing Gingivitis or removing wisdom teeth)but I was not allowed any anesthesia...none...no shot,no gas....I learned to pray "real hard" and Dissociate pretty well)

I had a root canal where the tissue got "sour" and the anastetic didn't take. Oh, you can be sure that hurt!
