One day tms may treatment autism and other mental conditions. I read that tms takes some of the bad traits, like bad eye contact and bad social skills.

I think the OP mean "transcranial magnetic stimulation."

I would love to mess with one of those for fun. You can apparently selectively turn-off (temporarily) parts of your brain with one.

Gedrene learnt Hyper Beam!

Also unfortunately I don't think they'll fix anything like that. We don't have an excess, it's a brain structure thing. To give you an architectural metaphor, we have the Executive loungue on the 21st level, not the 19th. I think TMS will actually be useful in dealing with epilepsy though.

How do you know for sure? Also what proof do you have that I am wrong? You can go look at brain scans on the Autism page in wikipedia if you want. We have everything everyone else does, but in different places.

You are right some people with autism have different things wrong with their brain. More treatments will have to be developed for different types of autism. :?

No, I was saying we have different brain structure. What you're talking about is that spectrum thing.

You need to accept that it's not a disease. Autism is a neurological difference.

I'd venture to say that autism is a misnomer that attempts to put a huge bundle of medical issues under one roof, of which their slamming together in to a spectrum has led to criminal medical negligence.

So far you have spoken more clearly, shown more empathy with, and had less problems than half of the people on a fox news forum thread cheering for a political opponent's death. Face it, kid. The only reason why you want to be treated is because you'd rather not be an outcast than be completely fine, if different in a way that irks jerks.

You don't need to get rid of it. There are thousands of ways to fully take advantage of your autism. No one is truely normal.
