The age limit is 14 this year.

This kid is a talented singer, he made it through to the live shows :)

They didn't mention his AS until last nights episode (when they were announcing the final 12) .

I hope he has success in the finals :)

I watched the videos in Youtube. He has a nice voice, and good looks. He has a good chance. Go Declan!

aspies never win these shows. They turn it into a parting gift of at least you showed the world what an aspie can do!

I saw the young fellow and he is very very talented...good luck to him

I must admit though, he appears very high functioning. Wouldn't have guessed he had Aspergers.

I certainly didn't pick it.

I hope he has a long music career ahead regardless of whether he wins the show or not.

Looks like one of the contestants has already started bullying Declan Sykes. Unfortunately a fight ensued between Declan and the other contestant.

One of the organisers (Guy Sebastian) has asked the show to consider Declan's Asperger Syndrome as a mitigating factor in his defense.
