How can the solar system fall when there is no up or down in space, really?

To be replaced with what? The immediate effect is riot and upset and a breakdown of the economy. Tell me, sport; do you grow your own food in sufficient quantity to survive. Can you defend the land on which you grow you own food. What you are proposing is a Hobbsean anarchy, a world in which the life of man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.

Before you burn the ship to the water line be sure you have a lifeboat to get into.

I think she looks cute the way she is.

I've never understood people that spend hours attempting to get every hair into perfect position.

You're asking a little much there don't you think? I am probably not smart enough to come up with a new system......and probably would not even live long enough to see that through. But there is nothing really going for me anyways, the system sucks and so I think it should collapse.

At the moment I do not grow my own food in a sufficient quanity to survive, but I know how to grow food......I am also willing to learn to hunt, I can already fish. And I am proposing that I will be glad if the system collapses......I have not said anything about what sort of system I think should replace it...and I am perfectly aware it will be quite chaotic after the collapse.

And I've never understood why people feel the need to make it their buisness to tell me what I should do with my physical appearance.....another favorite of mine other then the hair comments is. Are you a boy or girl? now I just kinda laugh at that one.

What a reasonable person you are!

I don't care how crappy the system is, it is my duty, as a member of the human race, to ensure that the system works to the best of its ability.

I agree it sucks...and it needs to change. But total collaspe would be devistating, not just for the US, but for the rest of the world too.
Europe is falling apart at the hinges, China is in a bubble and is supporting half of the western world, and the US is teetering on the brink of a depression that will rival the Great depression. Everyone's money is in somone else's pocket and with the EU falling apart, the only thing preventing a global freefall is the US. Once the US goes into a depression, the debt weight of Europe and the US will pull China over the edge. If this is allowed to happen, we are likely to find ourselves in a new dark age.
Russia may survive on its own though. The middle east is as dependant on the west to buy its oil as we are for its oil. If we cant feed ourselves, I doubt we would be driving much, so the middle east will go out too cause they depend on imports of everything because they are in a desert. Tribal south americans and tribal africans, may be the the best fed in the world.

Many will die, many more will suffer horribly. I cant understand why you would want that.

The only people who will survive are ones who can live off the land and are remote enough away from looters.

however, I think your hair is fine the way it is, but what is underneath it concerns me. Are you feeling suicidal??

Jojo

Many will already die, suffer horribly ect.......even if the system does not collapse, so that does not convince me to support it.

Also, at the moment I would not say I am feeling suicidal but yes I do have those kinds of thoughts more often then anyone would want to because I am quite depressed. not quite sure what that has to do with the topic though.

If it is broken, then attempt to fix it. I a republic it is the citizens that bear the onus of keeping the society working and intact. Take a political action. Advocate a reform (or even a revolution). Join a movement.

Can it be fixed though? The society has only brought me pain...so why should I want to keep it intact? I am all for change but I feel like the best way might be for the system to collapse then people will have no choice but to figure some sh*t out.

Maybe it is beyond repair. But not attempting to fix it will guarantee the very thing you predict. When the boat is sinking you -try- to plug the leaks. You -try- to pump out the water. You -try- to bail the boat out. If you don't -try-, you will surely drown.
