Iran proposes to reopen nuclear talks

Quote:
Iran has proposed to reopen negotiations about its controversial nuclear programme with the US, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany.

The invitation by Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili, comes in the wake of new sanctions recently imposed by the UN over Tehran's uranium enrichment programme.

The last round of talks between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN security council and Germany – held in Istanbul in January – ended in failure.

They've also sent an invitation to have their nuclear facilities inspected. Something tells me nothing will change.

Oil Execs are smiling.

Iran's just stalling to buy time. Their saber-rattling has already pushed the price of oil up, and their calling for negotiations is proof that sanctions are working.

As for any nuclear/missile capabilities Iran may have, NOW is the time to take those assets out. Israel's probably going to have to act unilaterally again, but of course, we'll lend then some bunker-busters to do it.

Happy New Year!

If Iran has a nuclear weapon they can respond with it if they are attacked because they will have to decide either to use them or lose them.

Unfortunately bombing Iran is no solution to the problem. What about the nuclear facilities that are hidden?
