This is a clear, mad and bad case of dangerous driving. I think that the UK test for dangerous driving is a reasonable one. The test is "would a typical person (who has passed a driving test) understand that the driving conduct is likely to cause death, serious injury or major property damage"

I think that breast feeding while driving, having a shave while driving or trying to butter toast while driving are all blatent examples of dangerous driving. While breast feeding should be allowed in public, it should not be allowed at the same time as driving.

lol....my mom has read newspapers while driving. Got a ticket for it too. The officer was like "LADY....WHAT are you doing!! !???"
She used to read novels while driving too. hyperlexic is a "mild" understatement.

Stupid stupid. My dad has done stupid things too while driving by looking for stuff. Everyone has to tell him to watch the road and wait until he stops or pulls over. I have looked at maps while driving but while I was at a stop light and I would pull over too if I had to figure out what route to take or what road I wanted to get on. But I would never look at a road map to see where I am or where I should go or what turns to take.
