I post on sports blogs...I can't say " RIP JOE PA" because he deserved to die and suffer for what he helped coverup multiple times....child sex abuse is probably up there as one of the most heinous crimes imaginable...

Can't feel too sorry for the guy. I feel more sorry that his life will be defined by what he didn't do.

I know he had cancer before the scandal broke out, but after he was fired and all that ensued afterwards, his health took a nose dive.
He has done alot of great things, but all the football games in the world mean nothing when a pedophile is allowed to have his way with children, right under his nose.

I am sorry his great career has come to this, but we live and die by the choices we make.

To think, had Paterno had the courage he had displayed in coaching his players on the field when it came to the under coach who had raped so many children over the years, he would probably still be alive and in his exalted position.
