Please let the Democrats win. Please let the Democrats win.

On a related note, Arnold Schwarzenegger is running for reelection as Governor of California, and he is expected to win. That's because his Democratic opponent failed to remind voters that their governor once starred in Kindergarten Cop, Junior, and Last Action Hero. What a moron. He deserves to lose.

Good Evening Werbert.
Yes we are also praying for a Democratic Evening. My friend is not even American and he's staying up all night for sausage rolls, pizzer and reuters, he creates his own nerve centre with two computers and satellite news.
Don't worry Governor Arnold won't stay in business long the steroids must have compromised his vascular system. Actor no, Kindergarten Prop. Someone in California must have half a brain.

Worryingly, this has been getting a disproportionate amount of press coverage in the UK, particularly in Labour-supporting newspapers like The Groan. I wouldn't mind but we in the UK can't vote in US elections!

You guys should go check out www.michaelmoore.com. He lists five -in my opinion-very good reasons why people should go vote.
After what happened in the main election, it's a wonder why anyone wants to, the way it got stolen and all.
But we can't give up. If the senate and the house still stay majority republican, though, I will be depressed and have to go back to the vodka.
anyway, go check out that site.

all my votes went to democrats, this is a good oppertunity for them to show everyone that they can get some things done if there in charge. if they cant, i'm voting for republicans in 2008. there were also several propositions in my state including getting rid of eminent domain and raising the mininum wage. i voted to get rid of eminent domain and raise the mininum wage.

I didn't vote today because I was tired. But I would have voted for Kinky Friendman for governor of Texas.

I live in MN....we are trying to get a republican gov. out...I think we succeeded. He has cut a lot of social service programs that our state has always been very good about supporting.Cant wait to see him gone.I work with DD clients and that will really effect their benefits.Hopefully will increase social service COLA raises as well....We have had only .50 cent increase in wages in over 4 years but the cost of living has increased a lot more then that.

I am sad to say that Rick Perry was re-elected as our governor.

My parents are die-hard Republicans, but they are fed up with Gov. Perry. But the big question with my parents and politics is how they will react when they find out that Daniel Ortega is once again the president of Nicaragua. My parents are joining the Citgo boycott (because it is owned by the Venezuelan government, led by Hugo Chavez).

You didn't vote because you were tired? haha what a lame excuse. Over here it's compulsory. I don't see why it isn't that way in America. 26% of people in Texas voted last year (I'm pretty sure). What a disgrace.

I hear it doesn't stop some from not voting, though.

Democracy should mean the right to exercise your rights by not voting. :)

Regardless, it's given me the best news I've had in.... quite a while.
Rumsfeld's resigned.

I'm literally chair-dancing, right this very second

That is the big question. 8)

It's down to two states. In Montana, the Democratic challenger is up by 3,000 (out of 200,000+ votes each per candidate). In Virginia, the Democratic challenger is up by 7,000 (out of 2.5 million total votes).

I just heard that that Montana has been declared for the Democrat, Tester. In Virginia, Senator Allen (Republican) demanded a recount.

Perhaps I shouldn't take sides in this forums. But: Relief, relief, relief.
