No one had a problem with this woman reading to a class of kids until after it was disclosed that she was a porn actress (former or not). Then all of a sudden, it was a horrible thing! Bit of hypocrisy here I think. If she was just there volunteering to read to some kids, what is the big deal? Which is what she was attempting to do. There was no mention to the children that she was a porn actress, it never came up during the class.

I used to volunteer at my kids' school. I suppose a lot of parents would have flipped out & forbid it if they'd known that I had been molested when I was their kids' age. Probably would have thought I'd be after having sex with any or all of them. Yeah, right. I was just there as a mom helping out where I could.

So she had sex on tape? Who cares! Did she play her old movies for the kids? Did her story corrupt their values? Did she molest them?

I don't see what the big deal is. Everyone has a past. A good deed is a good deed regardless of who you used to be.

Was she using her fake orgasm-sounding voice to read the stories? I think it is perfectly acceptable otherwise if that did not happen.

However, if the story she read was about air conditioner repairmen or firefighters, I can see some tension there.
