I think that's a wonderful idea, and I support the bill, 100%. I have a friend who's legally blind, and that's why I support it.

I'm from Texas and this gave me a giggle.

this isn't a bad idea, maybe they just might get rid of each other and we'd have no more eldery drivers around anymore.

Yes,even the blind should have the experience of killing for fun.I assume the millitary will be reqruiting the best shots of the bunch.It is so much more pleasant to kill when you dont have to see the suffering in the faces of the animals.(Thats why I regret getting my dead animals prepackaged in faceless syran wrap....where is the fun in that?)

It's not so much that I want to be prejudiced towards the blind, but... is there a huge need for blind people to hunt? What's the point of it? You can't see the animal, you're relying on someone else to aim for you, y'don't get to see the animal die (some people like that part... shrug)... just about all you'd get of the hunting experience is the camping, and the eating whatever you killed. Why not just pick up some big fat steaks from the store and go camping?
It's not so much that I'm against it as it is that I just don't get the point.

I'm not anti-hunting, nor am I anti-blind people. I am in fact a big second-amendment supporter. But it seems to me that this is kind of... well, PC Overkill. Considering that we are talking about BLIND people, who cannot, by nature, SEE what it is that they are shooting at... so we compensate by adding more equipment that we don't legally allow and that STILL won't let them SEE where they are pointing a FIREARM.

My guess is that this is a way to sneak in the laser sights and such that are currently not allowed.

Don't worry. This means less KKK members and less anti-gay/abortion acts because everyone would be dead. I support this bill fully, another way get rid of the stupid people.

No, because the hunters never end up shooting themselves. They always end up shooting someone else in the assumption that he was a deer with a red hat, perhaps, or a large flesh-colored squirel. (Bonus points to anyone who gets the reference.)
