Bus Crash and Train Derailment (deaths)

"Across the border" (Kentucky) there was a horrific bus crash today. Dead preschoolers and ones in ICU. So if the images from Sandy weren't enough, there is that. Also a train derailed.

My aunt has a personal connection to one of the victims. Also, when she was a child, 4 kids from her neighborhood died in a bus crash. She is in a horrible state right now.

It's not a good day to be over-empathetic.

I noticed that some are already blaming the bus driver.....no one knows what happened, yet, so why the rush to judge?

A tour bus with elderly people ran off the mountain here years back,they think the driver went to sleep.A friend worked the accident and said for years he had nightmares.Another person I know had their dog bring a human hand from the accident into the yard,I think most of them died.My heart goes out to the victims,their families and the people that work the accident scene.

I just checked on this and it was a combo of driver fatigue and faulty brakes,there were some survivors which is amazing since the bus went about 200 feet down a steep rocky ravine.
