Neither Barack nor Mitt likely to be big help with Spectrum

Until we are successful, then either one is likely to make a statement such as: And I want to thank people who are on the Asperger's-Autism Spectrum for speaking out on their own behalf and reminding us all that 'normal' need not be such a small box, and how boring the world would be if it were. And instead how much broader the world is---for all of us---when we look at what a person can do and not what they can't. (perhaps something like that, and not such a bad speech, right?)

And so, whatever tomorrow's election results, I want us to remain friends. Yes, we can discuss jobs and energy policy and twenty-five other topics, but at the same time, I very much want us to be open to network and self-advocacy groups we can start, join, contribute to, etc.
