I know we don't all share the same political views, but I'd like to remind everyone that this post in on-topic for this forum

Rep. Cynthia McKinney has brought articles of impeachment against Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld (although he resigned now), and Gonzales. I am posting this link for informational purposes, and so that interested people can sign the petition and forward the information to their friends.

As much as I'd like to see this succeed, I doubt it'll happen. Too many powerful friends in high places.

Yeah, these days you have to get caught with your pants down to get impeached.

It's not whether you guys get a Democrat or a Republican. It's whether you get someone with some integrity, true morality, and the realisation that the US is not alone in the world and that the other countries are not just full of brown people to be bombed at will. So far, Bush has demonstrated that he has about the same geopolitical acumen as that thing growing in the back of my fridge. Less, quite likely.

Yeah, the fundamental problem is that the masses will tolerate that sort of thing, as long as they can keep filling up their SUVs. It's funny, we came here to get away from wealthy tyrants and we became wealthy tyrants.

Took long enough.

What I find odd is how long it took people to figure out he was an idiot. I could tell that before he was even elected.

It's times like these I'm glad I live in a country where being a "boring thinkers" doesn't mean instant political death.

Oh don't get me wrong, I still think Stephen Harper is a horrible, horrible person. But at least he seems like the kind of guy that has an IQ in the triple digits.
