That's amazing. That is real heroism.

I dread finding myself in a situation like that and being confronted by my own cowardice.

When I saw the title of this thread, I immediately thought:

Yeah a Hero sandwich and a sub sandwich are the samething when I think about it

This guy is pretty amazing. I've lived in NYC, and I dont' know if I would have the guts to do something like that. I definitely would not be physically strong enough to pull the sick guy any substantial distance. Also, I don't know if I would fit in the drainage ditch due to my weight problem (I'm not that big, but I am bigger than this guy).

Seriously, he is a hero - maybe they should consider re-naming the subway station after him. It's just a thought. Maybe I will email Bloomberg about it. It's more of a permanent thing and a better tribute to him then the money he has been getting.

Edit: I asked Jesus if he was planning on rewarding this guy and he said that he would.
