I heard it in the background while I was playing some internet game.

Here is the full text link.It is Whitehouse.gov. The video link should be at that site sometime soon.

Here is a fact sheet link that goes over some of the things the President said in an outline form.

The Democrats had a response by Senator Richard Durbin (IL), but I'm to tired to look for that tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

I do not think that he is going to get the funding 20,000 troops. He will get funding for all of the other parts of the his wish list.

He has two years left. Who is going to run the country if we haven't elected anybody yet?

I heard it on shortwave, they were translating it into portuguese. One of the commentators said "If they don't 'take care of the crazy muslims' who will?"

I read the transcript - I can't stand to see him or hear him talk.

I am seriously hoping and praying that he gets impeached because too many of the soldiers are dying. And now he wants to put more in there? How ridiculous.

i knew this was going to happen before it was announced, so, blah.

the way i see it, we might as well make a hail mary. otherwise, because the iraqi government is not yet able sustain itself, at least not nationwide, the whole country would fall apart and iran would have a virtual pipeline for terrorists under its control. sure, it costs us financially and possibly lives (almost certainly some), but, we created the mess, didn't we? (and, no, i don't think we should have gone there in the first place)

George Bush doesn't seem to give a damn about anything. He does what he wants or what Dick Chaney wants. This war is insanely stupid and a waste of people lives. Sending more troops there, just means more Americans and Iraqi's are going to die.

but if we pull out then another evil power could possibly take over! and what about our oil?

i agree that sending more troops over there is pointless since we're just killing more and more people. can't he think of anything else?

how many would it be before it is labelled a holocaust?

holocaust def'n: any mass slaughter or reckless destruction of life.

I am not an American so I will not mock your country. But it's sad that such a man is in command (puppet or not) of one of the worlds most influential countries: http://www.bushorchimp.com/

re: Bush's address... I couldn't be bothered. Replace whatever he said with "blah blah blah blah blah blah" and it's about the same effect.
