I'm watching the live reporting at the scene by CNN even as I write this.
Needless to say, it is very possible that this arrest has no connection to the Boston Marathon bombing. But as the police had forced the suspect to strip down naked (perhaps fearing a suicide bomber belt under his clothes) it sounds they like they have something. That, and the fact that the feds on the scene have requested all news people not to use their cell phones, and have told the neighbors to stay inside for their own safety.

Good point that it may not be connected to the Boston terrorist attack. I know that CNN had been criticized for reporting things they had not verified immediately after the Boston terrorist attack. The Boston Globe reported via Twitter that one of the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing had been caught and NBC news is reporting that explosives and pressure cooker were found at the Watertown location. I also thought the suspect they put in the car looked very similar the the bombing suspect in the black hat.

Apparently, one suspect from the MIT shooting is now dead.

Still no confirmation of a link between the shooting and the bombing, though...

I read that the one they caught and stripped down turned out to be someone else that had nothing to do with it.

Apparently had the bombers not gone the stupid route of robbing a 7-11 last night they would still be on the run without the police knowing who they were.

CNN wrote:
The slain suspect was wearing explosives and a triggering device when he died, a source briefed on the investigation told CNN's Deborah Feyerick. Several sources identified him as Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26. He was the fugitive suspect's older brother.

A Maryland man who said he was the suspects' uncle told CNN affiliate WBZ that Tamerlan Tsarnaev "got what he deserved." "What can I say for people who have been murdered? Sympathy," Ruslan Tsarni, referring to those who died in the bombings at the Boston Marathon.

When your own people turn against you, it's only a matter of time before you go down.

When I saw the uncle speak on the news this morning, I thought that he was going to spit on the ground at mere mention of his nephew's names.

So, did those two geniuses leave Chechnya to get away from the violence?
