The two prime suspects (one of them shot dead by police) are from Chechnaya and you guessed it! They are Muslim.

Please see: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/ap ... -watertown

My guess is that these lads a wannabe terrorist heroes and score points with their mid-eastern brethren. I would be very surprised if they were part of a Muslim sleeper network.

They are just the right age. young male anxious to get it on with their 72 dark eyed virgins.

The United States probably had quit a few people who sympathized with the Chechnaya citizens. Those numbers probably dropped with this information. They seem like thrill killers and also remind me of the D. C. snipers.

The Prime Suspect's uncle is also a Chechnyan Muslim, and this is what he has to say in regards of his nephews.

Bismarck Tribune via Associated Press wrote:
An uncle of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects urged one of his nephews to turn himself in Friday, saying he had brought shame to the family and the entire Chechen ethnicity.

"Yes, we're ashamed. They're the children of my brother," Ruslan Tsarni told a throng of reporters outside his home in Montgomery Village, Md.

The suspects were identified by law enforcement officials and family members as Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, brothers from a Russian region near Chechnya.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, a 26-year-old who had been known to the FBI as Suspect No. 1 and was seen in surveillance footage in a black baseball cap, was killed overnight, officials said.

His brother, a 19-year-old college student who was dubbed Suspect No. 2, escaped. He was seen wearing a white, backward baseball cap in the images from Monday's deadly bombing at the marathon finish line.

"Dzhokhar, if you are alive, turn yourself in and ask for forgiveness," Tsarni said.

They lived near Boston and had been in the U.S. for about a decade, Tsarni said. He said he had not seen them since December 2005. He said his nephews had struggled to settle themselves in the U.S. and ended up "thereby just hating everyone."

Asked what he thought provoked the bombings, Tsarni said: "Being losers, hatred to those who were able to settle themselves. These are the only reasons I can imagine of. Anything else, anything else to do with religion, with Islam, it's a fraud, it's a fake."

Tsarni, who described himself as Muslim, said his brother left the U.S. and he had not talked to him since 2009. He said they had a personal falling out but did not elaborate.

Chechnya has been plagued by an Islamic insurgency that has carried out deadly bombings.

Tsarni said vehemently that Chechnya had nothing to do with the attack.

"I've been following from Day One, but would never imagine that somehow the children of my brother would be associated with that. So it is atrocity."

Anti-Russian sentiment explains it, John McCain after all declared that he wanted to go toe to toe with the Russkies over Chechnya. There was a mixed reaction though when Yeltsin started it because officially they loved Yeltsin. When Putin took over that changed things... it was pretty much negative towards the Russians.

These two had gone back to Chechnya to fight the Russians, where I imagine, they were probably radicalized as nationalism and fundamentalist religion become so intertwined that they're inseparable. After that, all us infidels - whether Americans, Russians, whatever - are regarded as the enemy.

Quran 8:39 - And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.

Also these lads were just at the age where the urge to get it on with their 72 dark eyed virgins was overwhelming. Islam is a sexually f*cked psychotic religion.

I doubt these kids were in any way connected with actual Chechen militants. Sounds like a case of home grown internet indoctrinated jihadists.

They would've been alot more organized and would've made more of an effort to not get caught. I watched an interview of some Muslim leader from (can't remember which country). He said this was too amateurish even for organized Islamic extremist organizations. Turns out he was right.

I'm surprised that the FBI isn't crowing about how this vindicates their fake terror plot programme; that these are the kinds of people they rope into their phony plots, that had they should have brought forth a criminal to handle these people and funnel them into a fake plot that the bombing would have not happened. I expect the FBI to begin shortly with this...

Anyone who would show any sympathy for those two terrorists may as well be a terrorist himself.

Massachusetts does not have an enforceable death penalty statute, having been struck down by court ruling in 1984.

He is likely to spend his remaining days in prison, so for now give Dzhokhar just enough lidocaine to get a full confession from him, but otherwise show the dog no mercy for the rest of his miserable life.

I trust the rules and guidelines on WP prohibit vilifying people's religions?

Any muslims on WP who would like to respond to Mr Ruveyn?
