So what are you doing, if anything, for Earth Day?

Myself, I'm doing nothing. Yesterday was San Jacinto Day and that was enough holiday for any one week.

I'll spend the day feeling sorry that the planet has such lousy stewards in charge of it.

I will be planting trees, collecting litter and recycling. Our group does this every Tuesday :)

I guess I found out too late to do anything. Wasn't paying attention. :(

Oh well, at least we recycle.

You should have seen the planet during the eruption of the Siberian Traps. There were no humans around and over 95 percent of the land species were made extinct by a million years of erupting volcanoes. Much of the ocean life was also killed off.

The human race has done little to reduce the living potential of the planet. Most of the damage done by human beings has been done to human beings which is business as usual.

An unhealthy planet helps no one. You don't have to be a "card-carrying liberal" to have some positive feelings towards Earth Day.

I suspect that what many people would refer to as being unhealthy in regards to the planet would be considered by others to just be unsightly.
