Twenty-one years ago, Wendy Camp called her husband at work and told him that her ex-husband, Chad Noe had just called her and told her she could come visit her (their) son Jonathan.

At the end of her pregnancy, she had been diagnosed with M.S., Chad had divorced her, got full custody of the newborn, and abandoned her.

She went through rehab, re-learned how to walk, how to feed herself, re-built her life with her little daughter, Cynthia.

She married a wonderful man, and tried,in court, for visitation rights with her son, which her ex and his charming family fought vehemently.

Chad called, said she could come visit, so she took her 6-year-old daughter with her to see her brother.
Lisa, her sister-in-law, drove them, as Wendy no longer had a driver's license, was partially paralyzed from the M.S.

They never came home.

Their bodies were finally found on land owned by Chad's mother. Chad's uncle has confessed he hired a back hoe driver to dig a hole 'for a septic tank' and then re-hired him to fill it in, though no tank was ever installed.

Twenty-one years, the loved ones of these women and this child suffered.

All they have is three skeletons to bury.

This is why I believe we need the death penalty.

R.I.P. to three innocent people......

I can see what you're inferring - but did the case already go through, or did it just happen?

I completely agree with this. It's probably never going to happen in my country. They prefer to have them locked up for 30 years in jail. Let's not even start about the tax costs and how well prisoners are treated here.

It's a good thing that the loved ones of the victims can finally get closure over this after 21 years.

May the victims RIP. :(

Dear Zodai, the man who paid for the back hoe is in custody, but has not been formally charged with anything, yet. It takes some work to search for the image, but there is a picture on the Internet of the skeletons as they were found....they appear to have been just flung into that hole.....like trash.

The baby's father supposedly said, when he was drunk, in a bar, that he had killed three people, but that could very well be liquor talking.

His grandmother, Ida, supposedly told someone she had 'taken care of' Wendy, when asked if there were still custody issues over little Jonathan.

An ugly, ugly business.

How do people live with the guilt?

this is sick
I'm not keen on a court giving a death sentence, but if they all died by the hands of the other family, well so be it
not guilty
