Buyer, no, the paranoia we see now is being encouraged.

While I never had much use for the stuff, prior to 9/11 we could buy dynamite fairly easily, and there were few problems. After all, dynamite does have legitimate uses, especially in rural areas like where I live. Now you almost have to sign your life away to buy dynamite even for those who have a legitimate need for it.

We can also still buy ammunition in convenience stores, yet shootings are very rare.

The people with power over us want even more power, so they keep us in a state of fear, which they use to make even more rules.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I don't buy into that "I'm a'skeered of everything and I need the government to come hold my hand" mentality.
