Ibragim Todashev was murdered by an FBI agent. So, when will the agent turn himself in for murder 1 charges, conviction and execution?

My thought, exactly!

"So?"

He murdered two unarmed women and an unarmed 8-year old boy.

He maimed and mutilated dozens of others.

In return, he received all of the justice that he deserved.

Even his own brother ran over him and dragged him 30 feet with a stolen get-away vehicle.

Good riddance.

I see... so this is a normal kind of exchange.

Quote:
COP - Tell us all you know or it will be bad for you and your family will be raped and murdered.

SUSPECT - All right, I'll tell you. I helped plot two killings with my friends.

COP - Thank you very much. I now sentence you to death!

Cop pulls out gun and fires bullets into the suspect.

SUSPECT - I die, I'm dead.

COP - Never forget, that I am the Law. Never forget that! With the idiot population behind me quaking in fear of terrorism, and my president and congress behind me, there is nothing I cannot do. I am the Law. You learned at your peril. And (pointing to the audience) don't you forget this either!

Yes, this is what we expect in a civilised country.

He was an MMA fighter; his body was enough of a weapon. He ATTACKED the FBI agent who then shot Todashev in self defense. He also admitted that he and Tamerlan Tsarnaev killed 3 people at the gym where they trained together. So, no, I don't feel bad that this piece of crap is dead. He deserves to be dead and he is rotting in hell now.
If anything, we should give the agent an award for getting rid of another lowlife murderer.

Police brutality in my opinon is the fault of the people in the public and especially in the elite who support it to the hilt, no murder, no outrage is insufficient to them as long as it's people who they don't like who are targeted. They think it's normal for the police to summarily execute people because they assume it won't be them who will get it. Again, you are saying that just because this person made a claim about being involved in something that therefore his life became forfeit and the police obtained the right to summarily execute him.

Also, I think that supporting this stuff is serves to destroy freedom of speech utterly as you tell yourself "my beliefs are kosher, they won't get me" and you'll assure that your beliefs remain kosher, that you think what you're told to think so that you do not run afoul of executioner cops.

Considering my beliefs include not killing innocent people, yeah, I won't end up in a situation where an FBI agent is going to shoot me.
In my opinion, once you kill someone, you lose all your rights as a person. Murderers should not have rights.

The title is misleading, like your words. I am all against police brutality, but there is a huge difference between summarily executing someone and shooting in self defense a known dangerous person who is attacking; if I was a cop I wouldn't take the risk of hand-to-hand combat against a brutal MMA-knowing murderer, shooting him looks like what a reasonable person would do, and if it is in self-defense then it is not a crime. The agent was injured during the attack btw.

Had he shot him while he was not a threat, well, although I personally wouldn't be too bothered if it is certain he commited the crimes people say he did, and the court system would ultimately give him a heavy sentence anyway, that is a decision of the court system to make, not of the cops, and although I'd feel for the cop it would still be a crime. If cops were allowed to be judges, that would give them way too much power.

He was unarmed... the police themselves admitted to being wrong when they told lies about the person being armed with a knife. This is a de-facto "drone strike"... the reactions seem to indicate this.

So? Being unarmed is not the same as not being dangerous. It is definitely wrong that the FBI said he had a knife when he didn't, but he DID attack them, and cops also have the right of self-defense. One of them was hurt, which makes me wonder what would have happened to him if they hadn't shot the guy. And what have drones got to do with this?

So you have him already as good as executed before even being found guilty.
So much for this justice you're screeching about.

Better that one lone terrorist dies "accidentally" than more people die from his attacks.

Are you going to the parade next Tuesday?

Why do you seem so hell-bent on defending this killer, xenon13? Would you rather have him roaming freely to find another victim?

And killer cops are at large to kill again and again and many have. The leadership are saying that they are licenced to kill at will and that is a real danger, far more than any terrorist. It means I can't trust a single cop out there won't shoot me for some made up reason, and the cops are there everywhere, how many so-called terrorists are lurking about? Far more die at the hands of the police than at the hands of any terrorist.

In other words, you support his extra-judicial execution and believe that the killer cops should be arround to kill again and again and just as wantonly. Yes, I defend someone who has been murdered in this way.

I get the sentiment, but why are you so hell bent in seeing this specific case as an extrajudicial execution, and create a false dychotomy where not repelling this specific event means supporting all and every kinds of abuse of power by the cops ?(which does exist, and is bad, and different from this situation)

It would seem as if you had some kind of agenda, and are making this story fit with that agenda while disregarding the parts that don't. The accused attacked and harmed one of the agents, what do you have to say about that?

I'll take that as a "No".
