GOOD, people who aren't white are finally being charged with hate crimes too.

I don't really agree with hate crimes. I understand that the severity of crimes can vary by the motive, but I think racism shouldn't have an exceptional value placed on it.

I always thought hate crime laws, domestic (blank) laws, et cetera were kind of stupid.

There's a lot of what I consider to be odd decisions when it comes to breaking the law on the internet and breaking the law in person as well. What's the difference between pirating software and shoplifting it from the store?

I think that for every person who does a hate crime, no matter the severity, they should get executed as a testment to why we will not allow this to happen.

I don't like "hate crime" laws either, but I think that if they're going to exist, that everyone should be able to be charged with one.

I think that as long as justice is served correctly, it should not be important what colour your skin is.

I would imagine that there is a general perception that ones own racial group is targeted more than others, in these cases.
And that may be true for some people here (depending where in the world they live).

However, it'd be nice if people saw all hate crimes as wrong, and in true aspie style, did not discriminate across colour or race.
