How can an Amazon fish survive in Swedish waters?
Have you even been swimming in a Swedish lake during high summer?, the water still feels like its December, so cold it hurts.

Shouldn't this topic have the title "MEN, don't skinny dip in sweeden"?

I mean, the women are safe, aren't they? Or are there ovary-eating fish as well?

In the Amazon, there are parasitic fish that will get inside people through any opening they can find, so they can leech off of them from the inside. I saw a video on the Discovery Channel of a guy screaming and holding his crotch after one entered his body through his penis. I think he was wearing bathing suit though. It'd probably be best to just not risk swimming in the Amazon.

"It's not normal to get your testicles bitten off, of course, but it can happen ...,"

I'm never going anywhere near water again. Unless I boiled it first.

The Candiru is a blood feeder from the catfish family. A few cases have been reported of the fish invading women's vaginas but no real cases have been seen in a male urethra. The fish are just too large. There was one case reported in a male in 1997 but turned out to be a hoax. The Discovery Channel really should think about a re-branding, The Myth Channel maybe?
