They actually have laws against porn in Japan?

I had the impression that porn was as available as drinking water there.

Hardcore porn is illegal in Japan. (There is an underground and illegal niche called urabon, which is uncensored hardcore.)

So they are more prudish than we are in some ways, but they have "Rape Man" comics?

I guess every culture has its contradictions.
