To people who heavily invest in stocks with the US Dollar: How much does the price decreases concern you? I went to Canada in 1999 & the Can$ was worth 60 cents, now its worth 87 cents.

Personally, I would only invest in a universal currency like gold, which is up to $657 USd, up from $450 USd 10 years ago. If all the debt catches up with the US economy and there is a major recession, the US dollar might not be worth the paper its printed on.

For the last 6 months I've been buying a domestic mid-cap mutual fund. Starting this month, I'm also buying an international equities fund.
