''North Korea has accused America of standing in the way of peace as it called for the international military force that supports South Korea to be scrapped.

Pak Kil Yon, vice minister of foreign affairs for North Korea, said that although 60 years had passed since the end of the Korean War, an "outdated legacy" of the conflict remained.

He told the UN General Assembly in New York: "The UN Command (UNC), which has nothing to do with the United Nations, is ceaselessly conducting military actions threatening the Korean Peninsula and its surrounding area in the name of the UN."

The UNC is a multi-national military force under the command of the US and was created to assist South Korea during the conflict in the 1950s.

Despite North Korea carrying out its most powerful nuclear test earlier this year, Mr Pak accused America of "aggravating confrontation and tension" by increasing military presence.''

He's just saying that but not really meaning it. If he didn't point his finger at the U.S., his family back home would be tortured and thrown in the gulags or executed.
