In an irony well beyond the ken of the postmodernists, these very same Haitians have been demanding reparations for their own enslavement that ended 210 years ago.

Dont forget that other backward country that has a problem with human trafficking and slavery, Great Britain.
Yesterday the Member of Parliament for some rural area was telling me how its taken him 3 years to finally get the Police to do a raid on the gangs that are using East Europeans as slave labour on the farms, i cannot understand how an MP has to fight to stop such things in 21st century Britain!

Nambo, are you sure that Brits are responsible for the human trafficking you describe? To me it sounds like immigrants who have very different ideas about such things than one of the nations that put a stop to slavery.

He didnt say who the gang leaders where, It has been in the media in the past here that Gypsies have kept slave workers to hire out to the farms.
The point I was getting at is the fact it took this MP 3 years to get the authorities to do something about a known existing problem, I would have hoped such operations to stamp out slavery could have taken 24 hours at most.

Knowing a Brit very well, I can tell you that PC is bad in Britain. This means that immigrants and non-native Brits are held to a much lower standard than the natives. For example, Muslims can gang rape native girls and otherwise create mayhem, and little is said. But if anybody even suspects the EDL or BNP or causing problems, hysteria is the result.
