Yes, there are. Plenty.
The real issue is that the woman was specifically told not to go to the police and other social services because the party had no faith in them to deliver justice.
There was a mock court consisting of all the alleged rapist's friends who basically spent hours ripping the poor woman to shreds and disbelieving her account, all the while making sexist and asking victim-blaming questions and making derogatory claims that the woman had had a relationship with the alleged rapist (who was a very senior member of the party), despite the victim making crystal clear that she and the rapist had no relationship of any kind.

Because of her loyalty to the group. You have to understand that far-left political parties like the SWP are pretty much cults in both political ideology and in other ways. The SWP is extremely anti-democratic in nature, and dissent is not tolerated within it. It supports violent revolution in order to bring about a revolutionary socialist society.
Over this issue alone, half of the party's 1,000 members have left in disgust. (The SWP like to claim that their membership is much higher, because membership of the SWP is free and permanent, so many people never leave, but to all practical senses there were only about 1,000 members before this scandal.)

Hopefully, the foul SWP and similar organisations will end up in the political gutter. The RESPECT Party has lost a number of its Bradford councillors recently, and all the other far-left groupings are nowhere.
