Today is the 50th anniversary of the death of John F. Kennedy, C.S. Lewis, and Aldous Huxley. My opinion on the assassination of JFK: Now I am about 50-50 split between believing the official explanation and the conspiracy theory explanation of the CIA assassination of JFK. The CIA has overthrown democratically elected leaders of other countries. John F. Kennedy disliked the CIA for misleading him into committing to the Bay of Pigs. He authorized the CIA to overthrow the Diem Regime in South Vietnam after receiving a promise that Ngo Dinh Diem would be allowed to live in exile and was angered when they did not follow his orders. He told people around him that he wanted to shutter the CIA into several pieces. Before he can take action he is shot dead.

C.S. Lewis' book Mere Christianity is available online: http://www.truthaccordingtoscripture.co ... pAQn8SUQVz

Aldous Huxley I am not too familiar with but here is a clip from a speech: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4C6xkjMqdg

I simply see the JFK assassination as nothing if not a prominent major turning point in the Cold War. And American history.

Aldous Huxley is best know for "Brave New World" a excellent book.
C.S. Lewis was a brilliant writer "Mere Christianity" is one of my favorite books. He also wrote excellent fiction.

C.S. Lewis;

Screwtape Letters.

The Narnia books.

'Surprised By Joy'.

One of England's greatest authors, and a gifted, sensitive man, leaving a wonderful legacy to us all.

it is no suprise that Clive Staples Lewis died in Oxford in 1963 but interestingly enough he was born in Belfast.

i guess lewis and kennedy had one thing in common,they were both irish although one was protestant and from northern ireland and the other from boston and catholic.

i also supose no one would have expected kennedy to have died in dallas untill it happened.i dont know much about about huxley or even really JFK although my mother worshipped ted kennedy and liked c.s lewis.in england or europe its different in that catholics dont like the northern irish episcopal clive staples but american catholics love c.s lewis or at least my mother did.his works are taught at all the massachusetts catholic colleges like the one my mother got her masters from.

The JFK assassination was solved in the late 1990s:

It was Lyndon Johnson.
