Well, according to some headteacher in a Portland school anyway:

I don't like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but I like falafel and humous with salad in taboon.

Wow, an editorial on a right-wing site oversimplifies and distorts a message about cultural diversity. This is NEWS!

I'll give the writer credit for linking to an actual news story, although the first half of it seems geared to sensationalize the issues faced by the school. The second half is full of boring data and admirable goals, typical liberal nonsense.

I could think that black people were monkeys and inferior beings but still love Jamaican and African food. Similarly, I could dislike Chinese food but have nothing whatsoever against Chinese people.

WTF? I thought peanut butter sandwiches weren't allowed in school because of nut allergies. I'm a bit of a foodie and love stuff from all over the place and finds this crazy.
