That is terribly nasty, but kind of awesome in a way much more devious than a phone call indeed.....kind of reminds me of the band Scary B*tches like something they'd do a song about.

You haven't 'deleted someone from your life' when you create a giant scar to commemorate their former presence in it. If she wanted to forget him, she should have had a nicer tattoo done over it and obliterated it by covering it up, or popped for laser removal. Now she CAN'T "delete him" from her body without skin graft surgery.

Of course any tattoo professional will warn you that putting a sweetheart's name on your body is the kiss of death to the relationship. I've seen people married for 10-15 years get their spouse's name done, only to end up divorced and back for a coverup in less than 2 years. Bad Mojo. Stick to parents, kids or dead relatives.

Way back in the 1930's my Uncle Harry and Aunt Martha decided to get married, they were however poor and they could only afford one ring. My Aunt Martha therefore got the ring on her finger and Harry, a couple of hours before the wedding ceremony, had a wedding band tattoo inked into his ring finger. Those days relationships were meant to last.

Fast forward 61 (sixty one) years, they're still married but now together in an old folks home. Harry who's 91 now has breathing problems and needs 24/7 care but Aunt Martha stays with him. One morning the nurse wakes Aunt Martha and tells her that her husband Harry died during the night.

"I'm glad he went first", she said.

And she was dead by lunchtime.

I don't get it if he had a problem with the relationship he maybe should have told her...and maybe broke up before going to live with some chick he had been cheating on her with. Why would you get into a relationship with someone you don't like and would lie to, to get away from them?

I think most realistic tattoo professional will warn you, it is a potentially bad idea since the relationship is not guaranteed to last. I don't think there is a weird curse that happens when someone gets a tatoo of the name of their significant other that dooms the relationship to fail...that seems a little silly but maybe there is something I don't know....

She's stupid for getting her boyfriend's name tattooed on her in the first place! Real tattoo artists don't recommend such things but I guess some "artists" don't care as long as they make money. Why do people, other than the fact that they're usually too young to think far ahead, never think the relationship may go wrong and that the tattoo will be a PERMANENT reminder of that? Of course there's always a chance that no matter what you get permanently injected into your skin you may not like it anymore eventually. Not to mention the health risks because I know not every parlor is strict about keeping everything sterile.

I'd never have someone's name tattooed on me.I knew a biker chick that had "property of (her boyfriend's name) on her behind. It reminded me of a brand.
A good tattoo artist could cover that up.I don't know how she could have cut it off without taking something for the pain

She could have had the tattoo covered....but then she wouldn't have had the thrill of sending it to him

Because he probably didn't know what she would do.

She sounds off her head. Really off her head.

Well, I suppose he should be grateful she hadn't cut anything off of him.

So you should cheat on and lie to your significant other while pretending you're still serious about the relationship because 'you don't know what they will do'?

No, but these people don't think like that.

If I was him, I'd just end the relationship quietly. She... isn't my type.

Well why did he continue the relationship for two years, if she wasn't his type. I mean from the picture its pretty clear what 'type' she is...If that didn't appeal to him why did he start the relationship in the first place let alone keep it going for two years.
