Milwaukee mother embarrasses daughter on Facebook video

This kid should be glad I'm not her father, as she wouldn't have a head, and she would be shipped off to the strictest military school in the nation, and would never be allowed to return home, nor have any further contact with the family.

"Tell them your city and state."

Wow, way to give your kid a bad message by telling them to give out personal information in front of thousands.

"For the fight that you LOST today..."

She would've been happier if she won?

I saw another video like this while going through YouTube, a 14 year old girl who was also black was caught dating a boy over Facebook so her mom publicly posted a video of confronting her daughter.

I'd question whether the behavior in the Milwuakee video is narcissistic or not, but the one with the 14 year old girl was definitely abusive, and featured lines like: "Ain't nobody gonna do s#$% for this $%^&#!" and "Then imma beat your @#% and put it on Facebook!". Not sure if I can link it due to strong language; if you want to see it, do a YouTube search for "girl gets embarrassed on camera by her mom" or something along those lines.

She was being vindictive. Even if the kid would have won her fight, she still loses big time at home.



This Milwaukee situation is just like the discipline I been through and seen in every conservative Evangelical Christian home I've ever visited. The hierarchy is

The Holy Trinity

Parents

Children (who have little, if any rights)

A lot of evangelical parents believe in spare the rod and spoil the child. In addition, children are to be seen and not heard. Finally, their teaching is to completely break a child's spirit so they become 100% compliant to their parents (and by extension, YHWH) will.

Like I said earlier, this kid got off easy.

I hope the mother wasn't serious when she said she would beat the hell out of her.

There was the mother's reply on cnn.com that she would never lay a hand on the kid. Like I said, she got off easy. If it were my parents, that kid would be bruised all over her body.
