I just saw the video clips and articles about this today - I think it's fantastic! It kind of reminds me of how my dad used to talk to me in Mushu's (the dragon from Mulan's) voice because he liked Eddie Murphy and knew how much I loved Mushu. Also, I was really obsessed with the Seven Dwarves from Snow White as a little kid and would even address people by the names of the different dwarves. For instance, if someone looked grumpy, I said, "Hi, Grumpy!" If someone was wearing glasses, I said,, "Hi, Doc!" Or if someone happened to sneeze, I would say, "Hi, Sneezy!" If someone yawned, they became "Sleepy," etc etc. Whenever it was time for me to transition to something else (like bed or a bath) and I didn't want to do it because there were other things I wanted to focus on, I would pretend not to hear my parents when they told me it was time to do something different (and would even sort of "scooch" away from them on my butt when they approached me), so my mom had to resort to saying, "Don't forget to "warsh" behind your ears!" a la Doc from Snow White in order to get me excited about stopping what I was doing in order to have a bath.
