Another 130 people were wounded in what authorities said was a "premeditated, violent terrorist attack".

I guess they do things a little bit different in China.

I could have easily destroyed that guy with one look. There's no reason he couldn't be quickly taken out by those around him.

There was more than one person with a knife. Most panic and stampede in situations like this, maybe only one or two people would actually try and confront an attacker.

Too bad you weren't there.

If there were no guns or knives people would just beat each other to death with sticks instead.

Not me because I wouldn't let myself get beat with a stick. I can easily get rid of a stick. Or out maneuver it. I am very agile.

The point is that guns don't kill people, people kill people, so banning guns doesn't solve the problem.

The knife wielders were Muslims. One again we hear from The Religion of Peace.

This brings back an argument I had once with someone who was anti-gun, claiming that knives wouldn't be able to kill as many people as a gun wielding school shooter.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I rest my case. This proves that even if america went completely anti-gun, knives would still do the damage. And i might add, knives are easier to conceal than a gun, and quicker to use, and instead of having a gun to warn off such an attacker, you'd have to physically stop them, which also puts you at risk.

So, anti-gun advocates, what's your argument now?

Horrible tragedy, but we learn things by experience I suppose, and today some have learned that a lack of guns doesn't stop violent acts.

My foster brother had a pair,he was really good with them.He stuck with it and became a black belt, taught some classes later. He had a huge knife collection, our favorite was a butterfly knife that was broke, when you flipped it open, the blade would flop out to the side.I don't know why we thought it was so hilarious, teenagers. :D

One of my friends gave me a butterfly knife when I was sixteen so I know what you are talking about. It had a gold handle. It might be in a draw around here somewhere.

We live in a world in which mind altering drugs, licit or illicit, are something that the majority of the population partakes in, and in which pressures on individuals are mounting, making them more volatile. I am not convinced that more of these people carrying guns around in public will lead to more civility, and less crime. I think it will lead to more people reaching for the holsters when they get into an altercation, and the other guy won't back down. These considerations are not, I believe, outweigh'd by an increased potential for armed citizens to take out bad guys.

Johnny Cash knew what was up.
