What happened to that building? It looks like it was bombed or something, or is it just years of neglect? It reminds me a bit of some of those deserted neighbourhoods in Detroit, looks like a warzone but apparantly after a few years of neglect buildings just fall apart.

It was just left to neglect.

The reason I posted it was because I used to walk past there quite often.

It is a beautiful building and it is such a shame that it was left to rack and ruin.

Good God. What an ugly building! The Taj Mahal is at least graceful.
