Glad I'm not a woman. I could not take that. I would not be able to consciously lie there while that was being done. Just to be watching that many people in such close proximity to my body, I would have to be restrained.. Bad enough being under, when I wake up and sense all of the commotion, the noise, the bright lights, I scare the bejesus out of everyone within 100 feet. Kudos to females, for enduring the pain of normal childbirth let alone this process.

Both my babies were c-sections, it wasn't that bad.I was awake the first time,I had an epidural. The second time the epidural didn't work and I had to be put under.I'd rather be awake, then I know what's going on.When they knock you out you get fluid in your lungs and you have to cough, that really is painful after surgery.
The worst is having a catheter in and then the removal of it,and trying to pee afterwards,it's like your body doesn't remember how, trying to get up and walk, don't laugh for a few days,it hurts.
