I guess she had enough lol.they don't mention how it ended,if she came back or if someone came to drive the bus.there is a time and place for everything and should have finished her run than quit, but thinking of my days in school the drivers got little respect and they don't have many ways to deal with kids,i don't agree with what she did or what she said(n word)it may have been the only way to get her point through.i would like to hear her side of the story(the article seems one sided)and see the in bus camera to see what behaviour provoked this event.

I guess the kids might be a little better with the next driver :D

Especially if the next driver carries a baseball bat and is not afraid to use it.

Yeah, that bus driver has my total sympathy and I wish her good luck. Some kids can be obnoxious little brats and the current climate means that it isn't possible for the driver to give them a clip around the ears or throw them off if they really misbehave.

When you've gotta go you gotta go.

My ex drove a bus for awhile,he quit because of the stress.I don't blame him.One of the neighbors tried to say he pulled in their drive and rammed their car on purpose several times, sometimes the parents are worse than the kids.Once he went past a house that had a peacock and it made that sound they do,he just about had a heart attack, thought he'd ran over a kid.The bus drivers used to be pretty cool about picking up people walking, but they can't do that anymore.I caught a ride home on the bus once and there was this one kid that always caused trouble,I saw the bus driver turn around,no hands on the steering wheel, and grab that kid, sling him in a seat, and he cussed him pretty good also.My ex stopped the bus once and told them to shut the hell up or the bus wasn't going to move, some kid reported him but the school didn't do anything. The kid said that he ran the bus off the road then cussed them all out :D When you drive a bus in a rural area you have all sizes of kids, from head start to high school. The little kids are the worst, climbing over the seats and squealing.
I had a mean bus driver that looked just like Sammy Davis Jr,no one talked on his bus,he could just look at you and you got quiet.Another girl and I started saying,"Ummm,BS," in a funny voice when his eyes were turned,he never caught us,boy, did it make him mad.We had a cool sub once,we asked him if we could smoke,he said "smoke what?As long as I don't see it."We enjoyed the ride, leisurely smoking cigs in the back seats. :D
